Photos of Last Night’s Supermoon Lunar (Blood Moon) Eclipse

the evoolution of the Blood Moon
Last night was a Supermoon which coincided with a lunar eclipse, giving the moon a reddish appearance. This rare phenomenon is called Blood Moon due to the colour the moon appears in.

A Supermoon occurs when the Moon is closest to the Earth. or at its perigee, as it turns into a full Moon. A rising Super Full Moon can look larger and brighter to spectators on Earth. The colouration occurs due to the total lunar eclipse which gives the moon a reddish color. This happens because of Rayleigh scattering – the effect responsible for the beautiful colour of sunrises and sunsets.
All in all, these two phenomena happening at the same time is extremely rare. According to NASA, they have only occurred 5 times in the 1900s – in 1910, 1928, 1946, 1964 and 1982. After the September 27/ 28, 2015 Total Lunar Eclipse, a Supermoon eclipse will not happen again for another 18 years, until October 8, 2033.
While it is said that residents of the US were most likely to see it clearly, people in Nigeria spotted the moon as well. Check below.

Ministerial List: Buhari Ditches 73 Nominees From States

buhari UNN

Reports have started to raise dust that President Muhammadu Buhari has dumped a list containing 73 ministerial nominees selected from across the states in Nigeria.
The SUN publication has it that Governors and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) should be prepared for shock as President Muhammadu Buhari prepares to unveil members of his much expected cabinet with several of the over 73 nominees submitted from across the states conspicuously missing from the list.
It was learnt that Executives from APC-controlled states and some national leaders of the party had submitted no less than 73 names for the president to select his ministers from.
Recall, the president, before his swearing-in in May, vowed that he would not allow state governors to nominate ministers for him.

The old tradition, it was gathered, means the practice in the past where state governors and party leaders would nominate three names from their states, out of which the President would pick one as minister representing the state in FEC.
From May 1999 to May 2015, it has been the tradition of the then ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party-led Federal Government to appoint a minimum of one minister from each of the 36 states of the federation and six others from the geopolitical zones into the Federal Executive Council.
President Buhari is not swayed by the old tradition.
Recall, then president-elect, he had said if state governors are at liberty to appoint their commissioners, he, too, should be at liberty to choose those who would serve with him in the FEC, thereby abolishing the existing tradition where state governors are the ones that submit names of their candidates for ministerial appointments.

Top 7 Richest Football Agents According To Forbes

wpid-img20150925_232650.jpg
Forbes have published their most recent findings on the world’s richest football agents, with those responsible for brokering deals for the biggest names unsurprisingly near the top of the list.
Here’s a list of the Top 7 as analysed by Daily Mail
7. Thomas Kroth
image

Agency: Pro Profil
Represents: Manuel Neuer, Aleksander Dragovic, Shinji Kagawa, Sebastian Rode, Jose Holebas
Contracts worth: £146m
Commissions (career payments for completed deals): £14.7m
A tenacious German midfielder in his day, Kroth has gone on to enjoy a far more successful career as an agent since hanging up his boots in 1991. The one-cap wonder has Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer on his books, as well as former Manchester United playmaker Shinji Kagawa.
6. Fernando Felicevich
image
Agency: Fernando Felicevich
Represents: Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal, Claudio Bravo, Gary Medel
Contracts worth: £148m
Commissions: £15m
Felicevich has become one of the game’s most coveted agents, having enjoyed an extremely lucrative 12 months following the Brazil World Cup.
Chile’s success at the tournament laid the platform for things to come in this year’s Copa America, with four of Jorge Sampaoli’s side now having signed big-money deals across Europe – all coming from Felicevich’s stable.
5. Mino Raiola
image
Agency: Mino Raoila
Represents: Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkitarhyan, Blaise Matuidi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Maxwell, Romelu Lukaku, Mario Balotelli
Contracts worth: £186m
Commissions: £18.7m
Sir Alex Ferguson may have blamed Raiola for the departure of Paul Pogba from Manchester United on the cheap, but the player’s agent is synonymous with the trade, becoming a revered figure among his peers in recent years.
The Dutchman became Romelu Lukaku’s agent earlier this year, claiming the Belgian would not have joined Everton had the striker been in his stable rather than that of long-standing agent Christophe Henrotay in 2014.
4. Jose Otin
image
Agency: Bahia Internacional
Represents: Vitolo, Fernando Torres, Javi Martinez, Jesus Navas, Pedro, Raul Garcia, Nacho Monreal
Contracts worth: £191m
Commissions: £19.2m
Otin has cast his net across Europe, reaping the rewards of negotiating deals for some of the biggest stars across the top five leagues from one country to another. The Bahia Internacional agent deals exclusively with Spanish footballers, but that hasn’t stopped the man who once worked in radio from sending his clients abroad.
3. Volker Struth
image
Agency: SportsTotal
Represents: Marco Reus, Mario Gotze, Toni Kroos, Benedikt Howedes, Sidney Sam, Omer Toprak, Gonzalo Castro, Josip Drmic.
Contracts worth: £278m
Commissions: £27.8m
The SportsTotal agent is the most powerful middle man in German football, with some of the biggest names currently plying their trade in the Bundesliga being on his books.
Mario Gotze is one such illustrious name, but Struth made headlines in the summer when he claimed the current Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola had ‘destroyed’ his player through a lack of first-team opportunities.
2. Jonathan Barnett
image
Agency: Stellar Group
Represents: Gareth Bale, Joe Hart, Wojciech Szczesny, Scott Sinclair, Luke Shaw, Rafael, Glen Johnson, Phil Jagielka, Adam Lallana, Ashley Cole, Sylvain Distin, Patrick Roberts, Richard Wright
Contracts worth: £287m
Commissions: £28.8m
Barnett masterminded Gareth Bale’s £86million move from Tottenham to Real Madrid in 2013, and the highest-placed Brit on the list also played a crucial role in negotiating Luke Shaw’s £27m move from Southampton to Manchester United the following summer.
Barnett said earlier this month that Bale was never close to leaving the Bernabeu for Old Trafford, describing the speculation as ‘stupid paper talk’.
1. Jorge Mendes
image
Agency: Gestifute International
Represents: Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez, Eliaquim Mangala, Pepe, Ricardo Carvalho, Fabio Coentrao,Diego Costa, Thiago Silva, Tiago, Radamel Falcao, Angel di Maria, David de Gea, Jose Mourinho.
Contracts worth: £626.3m
Commissions: £62.8m
Mendes is the undisputed top dog of football agents, negotiating more than £625m in player contracts, including a £135m deal for client Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid. Ronaldo returned the favour when his agent recently got married, buying him with a Greek island as a wedding present.
Sir Alex Ferguson wrote in his new autobiography Leading: ‘There are some decent agents, but you don’t need all the fingers of one hand to count them. Jorge Mendes is one.’

Davido’s DODO was nicely fried but it doesn’t really taste good.

Music Review: Davido - DODO
Artist: Davido
Song Title: DODO
Producer: Kiddominant
Label: HKN Music
Always entangled with making hits, Davido who is often referred to as O.B.O (Baddest!), released the Kiddominant produced tune dubbed DODO on the 21st day of September 2015. With his much anticipated sophomore album ‘The Baddest’ set to hit the stores anytime soon, he’s still not resting.
With good calculations, you’d know 90% of the recent tunes released by Davido (including DODO) are not just infectious but they make you say “who be this guy na? …make him dey calm down oh!”
DODO started very catchy just like the song of the year 2014 ‘AYE’ which seems to be written all around it but after multi-listening, it appears that the DODO isn’t as tasty as expected cause our master chef should have done better with his delivery on the lyrics i.e; Paracetamol no fit cure this love at all; you dey make me fall like say I drink some alcohol
Truth be told if this track was produced by TSpize it would have been labeled as ‘AYE (2.0)‘ by the internet but since Kiddominant did what he is known for what else can you do but give the KID a thumbs up?
Like we all know even the best chef can prepare a bad meal (at-times) and since a not-so-tasty meal can also quench hunger, DODO has every chance to become a big song.
