The Archbishop, Bendel Province of the Church of Nigerian (Anglican Communion), Rev. Friday Imaekhai has praised the Edo state Governor Adams Oshiomhole for his exceptional administrative qualities.
The Archbishop praised the Governor during the 1 st session of the Fifth Synod of Esan Diocese held in St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Eguare-Ekpoma, Edo state with the theme:
‘’Thy Will Be Done.’’ Imaekhai eulogized the governor for his response to the infrastructural development challenge in Edo, which led to the construction of roads and rehabilitation of schools and
colleges across the state.
The Archbishop showed appreciation for the support Governor Oshiomhole has given to the Diocese, requesting from God to shower him with sound health and increase wisdom to direct the affairs of the state. However, he begged the governor to authorize the return of colleges to their original owners.
He said: “We commend Governor Adams
Oshiomhole of Edo State for the construction of roads and rehabilitation of schools and colleges. We request that colleges owned by missions that were taken over by government be returned to
them.”
